Good deeds always come back!
“Good deeds come back a hundredfold to the one who did them,” says the hero of our story, Akhilesh Kumar, and confirms his words with a story about how an ordinary dinner in a restaurant changed his ideas about the attitude towards people around him.
This is how it happened: one day he went to a restaurant for dinner and ordered dishes. After a while, when the prepared food was brought out to him, Akhilesh noticed someone’s gaze on him. It turned out that a little beggar boy was watching him.
The man felt sorry for him, and he waved at him to come inside. A moment later, the child timidly crossed the threshold of the restaurant. Next to him was a girl, apparently his sister. Akhilesh decided to feed the children and ordered them the same food as himself.
The order arrived pretty quickly. Also, the children ate the food really quickly, said “thank you” and ran away. And he asked the administrator for the bill and waited for it to be brought to him. While he was waiting for the bill, he managed to think that he was experiencing inexplicable joy from helping the children.
The waiter brought the bill, Akhilesh looked into it and saw, instead of the total amount, a record that it was impossible to measure the value of his act with money, and therefore the administration of the restaurant thanked him for his kind act and took the costs of the order itself.
The man was so amazed that he shared this story on Facebook and said that since then he realized that good always comes back.
