Paul Simon didn’t like Frank Sinatra’s version of his song “Mrs. Robinson” at first.
He talked about it at the premiere of a documentary about his music. He said Sinatra changed the lyrics, and Simon wasn’t happy about it. He even tried to stop the record from being released.

But later, Simon changed his mind and grew to love Sinatra’s version of the song. He said it’s the first song he plays after his concerts.
Simon also talked about losing hearing in his left ear while working on his album “Seven Psalms.” He said he’s regained some of his hearing, enough to sing and play music comfortably. But loud noises still bother him.
