When a forest is caught on fire, the animals are first to suffer!
On June 22, a disaster happened in Colorado. A series of strong fires swept through the forest. And after the fire was over, a little bear cub was found there…
The baby’s mother most likely died in the fire, and the bear himself burned his paws when he was looking for her, wandering through the burning grass. When firefighters found the poor guy, he was sitting on a fallen tree, barely holding on to it and shaking from weakness… The fire department contacted the foresters, and they gave the bear an injection of sleeping pills to take him to the hospital.

The bear cub had very serious burns! Doctors thought that he would not survive, but despite unfavorable predictions, the baby survived – antibiotics and other medications helped him. Soon the baby will be taken to a shelter for wild animals, and when he gets a little stronger and recovers, he will be released into the wild. Most likely, this will happen in winter.
When the baby was found, he weighed only 4.5 kilograms at four months. Currently, the shelter staff is feeding him with milk substitute. The bear cub is gaining weight!

Get well soon, sweetie!
