Service dog found a large dog, sitting in the swamp for two days…

There is nothing that would make Tino more excited than saving lost pets

The hero of this story was found by rescuers when he was a small puppy. And now he has become a lifeguard himself. Two years ago, a pregnant German Shepherd was found in the forest. The director of the charity fund for animal Welfare took the found dog. On the following morning, she gave birth to a puppy, which became the hero of this story. The little puppy didn’t know about it, but one day he returned to the forest to rescue a lost dog in need of his help. The dog was difficult to find, but the doggie managed to take her trail!

Tino grew up and began accompanying the training classes of other dogs who were trained to search and rescue. Soon Branson noticed that he also had a skill.

“He came to class and we appreciated him,” Branson said. “He showed himself well and started training. He always found a lost dog at every training session.”

Tino became a full member of Branson’s animal rescue service after 16 months of training.

Therefore, when Branson received a call with the news that a deaf 11-year-old Great Pyrenees named Puppy had disappeared, he knew the perfect dog for work.

On Thursday morning, the owner went horseback riding in the forest, and faithful Puppy eagerly followed her. When the woman noticed him from behind, she turned around and headed home, but the dog got lost on the way back.

Volunteers searched the forest unsuccessfully. All alone, in the dark, it was impossible for Puppy to hear the rescuers calling for him.

On Saturday morning after the dog went missing, Tino and Branson met the owner of the lost dog in the woods to walk in their tracks.

“It took the owner 90 minutes to find the place where she last saw the Puppy, because at dusk everything looks different,” Branson said. “As soon as I “presented” the smell of a lump of Puppy fur from the bed to Tino’s nose, he rushed to run along the smell.”

After 45 minutes of climbing logs and bushes, Tino brought Branson and the owner of Puppy to the swamp and did not stop barking.

“When we first saw Puppy, it was hard to believe our eyes because almost two-thirds of his body was covered in mud,” Branson said. Tino barked at this strange swamp creature until he realized it was a dog.

Branson put branches on the mud so that it was possible to get closer to the dog, and it became clear that 70 kilograms of the dog would be difficult to get out of the sticky swamp.

“With Tino’s leash under Puppy, I tried to pull him out”, Branson explained. “He got stuck so hard that I didn’t pull harder for fear of hurting his paws.” The owner’s husband brought more ropes and belts, and the three of them dragged the dog.

After he was pulled out of the mud, the Puppy was taken home.

Although the dog was very dirty, the owners of the Puppy were overjoyed that it was returned, and thanked Tino for his good nose.

Tino is always happy to repay the debt, because he was also rescued as a puppy. There is nothing that would make Tino more excited than to go in search of lost pets and bring them home. And his father was, at that moment, the proudest man alive
