In 2017, the dog’s former owners took him to a shelter. He was almost immediately taken into a family, but a year later he was returned. Capone got into a fight with another dog who came to visit.
It was impossible for the dog to survive the betrayal. He refused to eat and drink, and lost a great deal of weight as a result. Employees spent hours persuading the dog to eat a little.
He was heartbroken. It was a great grief for Capone to return to the shelter! Over time, Capone became comfortable with the shelter staff and trusted them.
The staff tried to find the dog a home. They posted photos of the dog on social networks. And so, there were people who wanted to take the baby home.
The married couple felt sorry for the depressed dog and wanted to adopt him. A personalized medallion had already been prepared for the dog’s collar when they came to pick him up.
The shelter staff were very concerned about the dog, they didn’t know if he could trust people. Holding their breath, they waited for the dog’s reaction. The couple saw Capone and knelt down, the dog understood everything, and, howling with joy, he rushed straight into their arms!
He was the loneliest dog in the shelter, but now he has a family! The new owners have published pictures of the happy little dog.
He never stops smiling and is very happy!
