Giant white whale caught off the coast of New South Wales

Another white whale was seen in the waters of Australia

16-year-old Braden Blake caught this giant whale on camera.

This completely white whale was spotted off the coast of Australia. Wildlife enthusiasts think this might be everyone’s favorite Migaloo. The encounter took place at Fingal Head, Coolangatta.

Everyone, who witnessed this amazing scene, thought that the whale was Migaloo. However, it turned out to be another whale. This led to people thinking it was one of Migaloo’s children.

“It’s the first time I’m seeing a white whale that is not Mogaloo”, marine expert Dr. Wally Franklin told.

Migaloo is a legendary white whale, first seen in Australia in 1991. The name means “white girl” (Australian Aboriginal term). She is the only known white whale living off the coast of Australia.

According to Dr. Franklin, there are about 40,000 whales living in these waters.
