Queen Latifah is excited to start filming Season 4 of The Equalizer after production delays from last year’s strikes. She really wants Dolly Parton to appear on the show as a guest star. They almost made it happen last year but couldn’t. Latifah and Dolly became friends when they worked together on a movie called Joyful Noise in 2012. Latifah thinks Dolly is an amazing person who has inspired her since she was young. Dolly is also tough and cool. The Equalizer starts airing on Feb. 18, and we’ll have to wait to see if Dolly shows up.
Dolly Parton told PEOPLE last month that she’s working on turning her life story into a Broadway musical. She hopes to have it ready by late ’25. She might even have a talent search to find someone to play her in the show. Despite her plans for Broadway, Dolly says she won’t retire unless something really bad happens.
The Equalizer Season 4 will have lots of exciting moments, according to Queen Latifah. There will be family, love, and plenty of action with explosions and people dodging danger.
