A wild stallion noticed a young filly drowning in the river and decided to help her. The incident took place in Arizona Tonto National Forest. Fortunately, one of the park volunteers Becky Standridge managed to capture the moment on camera. The wild horse proved that animals can also be compassionate and caring.
Champ, a wild stallion and other horses were eating on the bank of the Salt River when a group of other horses appeared in front of them on the opposite bank. Some of the horses decided to cross the river to meet them.
However, the young filly was too weak for the current of the river. She started drowning and panicked in the water. Luckily, Champ knew how to swim and managed to save her life. He hold her from the back and protected her until the filly reached the land and went to her mother. After that Champ went back to his friends and they moved on.
