Maria Reflects on Bachelor Drama with Sydney: ‘I’d Handle Things Differently’

Maria told Joey she feels hopeful about him but still has questions because of all the drama.

Maria, a contestant on The Bachelor, wants to make it clear that she stands up for herself. She talked about the drama on the show in a long TikTok video. The drama started when Sydney got upset with Maria’s response to Madina’s feelings about her age. Sydney told Joey that Maria was bullying others, which caused more problems.

Maria and Sydney talked with Joey together, but even after Sydney left, Maria still had issues with other contestants. Lea, who got the First Impression Rose, argued with Maria too. She was happy to see Maria upset.

In her video, Maria said watching episodes 4 and 5 was tough because of the drama and because she showed a sensitive side. She explained that being on the show is overwhelming and emotions run high. Maria was really upset at the end of episode 5 and said, “I’m out. They win.”

Maria admitted that she played a part in the drama but won’t apologize for standing her ground. She wishes she handled things differently and will try to do better in the future.

She also said she won’t let anyone attack her character, but she wants to spread positivity. Maria entered the show to make friends, memories, and find love.

Despite the drama, Maria and Joey are getting closer. On a date, Joey chose to give Maria a rose because he feels good and happy around her.
