The chocolate kitten was born special – with round ears and deformed paws, but she was full of determination to get on paws and start living a full life.

Little Quill was found in the street and then taken to the animal shelter in Los Angeles “Friends for Life”. She turned out to be special – the chocolate girl had round ears from birth and her front paws were deformed on which she could barely stand up.

A couple of volunteers took the kitten under their care. They started giving her a massage, she tried special gymnastics and physiotherapy. Quill also had small plasters on her paws to recover.

The little thing did a great job patiently enduring all the procedures. After each procedure she purred for a long time in the hands of her savors expressing her gratitude. The savors had a pet-cat named Pumpkin who took the kitten for upbringing. She was constantly hugging and licking her.

However, some time later little Quill started to feel bad: she had high fever. The caretakers took her to the vet, and the doctors put forward a disappointing diagnosis – feline infectious peritonitis.

As a treatment Quill was prescribed injections and a strict diet. Luckily, the warrior spirit didn’t leave this beauty – after just a week of treatment she already felt much better.

Now quill feels amazing. She is an active, playful, grateful cat and loves her caretakers with all her heart. She is actively gaining weight and makes small victories every day.

The condition of Quill’s paws is also improving – she runs, jumps, and climbs as if she has never had any problems.

When Quill is fully recovered and grown, her caretakers will look for permanent owners. And now she is growing a happy and loving cat with caring people.
