At many enterprises the functions of faithful guards are performed by dogs. They get used to the employees, reliably carry out their service and do not cause any trouble to their “employers”. This was the life of our heroine – an Asian shepherd named Rona.
Rona didn’t know any other life except the one on the territory of the enterprise, with chains. However, when she fell ill the employees decided to get rid of her without even trying to help their guard that was so devoted to them. Luckily, there were caring people who took Rona to the dog shelter “Drug” in Omsk.
The vets examining Rona were shocked by her condition. On the joints were neglected bursitis, a common disease among Alabai, the dog was unable to get up or eat, and only could lay motionless, as if waiting for her faith. However the shelter employees put their mind to fighting for Rona’s life, who had already given up, and did their best to put her on her paws.
As it turned out, not in vain! Surprisingly in a short period of time Rona began not only to eat and drink all by herself, but also to get up on her sore paws, go out for walks and show interest in people again. Rona, who had gained proper weight, could soon jump like a puppy, play and run, barking cheerfully.
Despite Rona’s formidable appearance, she was literally the living embodiment of the word “kindness”. This dog loved everyone, smiled to everyone and liked to hug everyone who dared to come near to her. She needed a loving family, although her protective instincts didn’t leave her. Living in a cold booth was absolutely forbidden, as her disease could come back.
Most recently our charming chubby girl has found a family. The girl moved to the Esipovs’ family, who have experience with large breeds. They are aware of all the diseases that Rona has. However, that doesn’t matter, as the family agreed to take care of their pet and treat her.
Good luck to our Rona, who has finally started a new happy chapter in her life! Hope she never again falls sick and experiences human indifference.
