In 2007 Laurie and Chris Coble faced something horrible. On that fateful day the woman was in the car with her children when a huge truck carrying 20 tons of electronics suddenly crashed into them.
Laurie doesn’t remember where the truck came from and how everything happened. Everything about the car crash she heard from witnesses. But the most horrible news she learned from her husband when she was still in hospital. All her children passed away one after another…
The injuries of 5-year-old Kyle, 4-year-old Emma and 2-year-old Katie were incompatible with life.
The truck driver turned out to be Jorge Miguel Romero. The man had many times been fined for speeding. This time he was charged with vehicular manslaughter.
After the car accident and after losing all their children, the Coble family set a serious task before themselves – influence the policy of carriers because of which truck drivers cause accidents on the roads.
“Truck drivers get paid for the distance they have traveled,-says Chris,-which means, they drive even when they are tired and need a sleep”.
6 months after this tragedy, Cobles got something to be happy for – they were going to be parents. The most interesting thing is, Laurie was pregnant with triplets. Besides, there were 2 girls and 1 boy this time too. Cobles still can’t believe in such an unbelievable coincidence.
“We are sure our deceased children are involved in this miracle. They watch us, know how we feel and are still a part of our life”.
Last year Laurie and Chris’s triplets turned 7.
And although parental heart will never stop hurting because of the loss of children, the endless love for the growing babies helps this couple live on…
