Family Schocks with Three Sets of Twins Born on the Same Day

Having a baby isn’t always easy. Some couples try many times, and some can’t have children at all. Kerry and Craig Kozinski faced the same challenge. But their decision to adopt had surprising outcomes.

In 2013, a friend asked Kerry and Craig if they wanted to adopt her twins because she couldn’t take care of them. Kerry and Craig, surely, agreed. Adalyn and Kenna were born on February 28, 2014.

A year later, the same friend asked them again. She had twins born on February 28, 2013, but couldn’t look after them properly. So, Kerry and Craig happily adopted Jay-Jay and C-C.

In 2016, Kerry got pregnant through artificial insemination and had twins, Clarissa and Caralline, also born on February 28. It was quite a coincidence!

“People often ask if we planned this,” Kerry said. “But no, the twins were born prematurely, and it wasn’t intentional.”

However, Kerry and Craig did plan to adopt before realizing they couldn’t have their own kids. They wanted their own children first, but then they decided to adopt and foster kids too.

Now, they’re focused on finishing the adoption paperwork. “Losing them would be devastating,” Kerry said. “They’re already our kids. We believe it was fate that brought them to us.”

The couple wants more kids, especially Craig who jokes, “We have 5 girls and only 1 boy!” They think it would be funny if they had more twins born on February 28 in the future.
