The renovation team mixed tradition with modern elegance 🤩 See the results in the comments👇
Charlotte Tracy fell in love with a front hallway in a seaside cottage on Long Island Sound. The cottage had been modernized but felt musty, except for the hallway with its original charm. Seeking to restore the house’s integrity, Tracy enlisted the help of her high school friend, architect John Allee, and designer Hannah Childs.
They worked together to revamp the cottage, replacing modern elements with traditional features like single-glazed windows and reclaimed wood floors. Despite setbacks like a hurricane, Tracy managed the project from afar. She collaborated with her consultants using Pinterest and opted for a palette of whites, blues, and neutrals. Her final goal was for the house to feel timeless, which her team achieved.
