Heavy rain and gusty wind in Odessa almost cost the life of a two-month-old puppy…The lonely puppy accidentally ended up in the epicenter of a storm. He was washed away by a stream of rainwater and the dog was floundering about in the liquid mud mixed with some parts of trees.
Vladimir Maximoff noticed the drowning puppy in the lake, that was formed because of the downpour. Without hesitation, he rushed into the swirling stream and swam to the floundering and whining lump.
After pulling the little thing ashore, Maxim called his friend and asked him to search on the internet how to help a dog in case of drowning. Fortunately, there was no need for resuscitation measures — the puppy just had swallowed some water.
The public did not remain indifferent to the brave act of the young man. Turned out, Maximoff was the son of an EMERCOM employee. He has no intention of following his father’s path. He has other plans. The guy really loves animals. He has 2 cats with 2 kittens, 3 rodents and 4 dogs. 
And the best part of the story is, that the drowning dog found a home and an Owner! Maxim named him Lucky, and now the fluffy miracle has got used to the large and friendly family.
