They tried to find a house for the kitten, but their puppy hugged her and never let go

Who said cats and dogs can’t get along?

The couple tried to find a home for the adopted kitten, but their puppy hugged her and wouldn’t let go.

The kitten Lily was only three months old when she, along with her siblings, got overexposed in Los Angeles.

Lorraine and her boyfriend took the kittens with the intention of putting them in good hands later. They went out and raised them into happy, playful babies.

When the time came, Lily’s siblings quickly found good hosts. Lily was still waiting for her perfect family…

When she turned five months old, the couple brought home a new family member – a puppy, Code, who was the size of the kitten.

“That’s when we all experienced the sense of completion,” says Loraine. Lily was introduced to Code and after some sniffing and licking, the two quickly got along.

“A connection has really been established between them. They fell in love and she cried whenever he left her (to use the bathroom).”

Two friends followed each other around the house. They did everything together and were completely inseparable.

Lily took on the role of Code’s older sister and personal hygienist, washing him from head to toe.

“She likes to fight with her “brother”. She initiates a washing session and cries when he leaves,” Loraine says. – The moments of their tenderness are the sweetest, but, of course, C ode is a very harmful younger brother.”

“At first, Code probably thought he was a cat, but he was lucky enough to spend enough time among other German Shepherds, so now there is no confusion.”

Lily is able to completely capture Code’s attention with her incredible audacity and charm.

She like to get him. I do not know how she does it, because I only see her eyes. But at some point he starts running all over the house,” says Loraine.

“They cuddle, sleep and frolic together all day.”

The two best friends have been together for almost a year, and their bond is only getting stronger.

Now they have grown, but in some ways they have not changed at all!

“We brought Lily home and she found Code. It was definitely meant to be, and we can’t imagine our life without her.”
