Such a sensitive and quick-witted dog!
This fantastic situation happened at the end of last year on the island of Cebu, Philippines. As usual, Jenrell, a local man, was getting to the side of the house along the mountain road. Like the other islanders, he used a bike.
Suddenly, a dog began to chase him. With a loud bark, she tried to attract attention to herself and ran so as to keep up with the bike. Jenrell realized that the dog was hurrying after him for a reason. And the man’s intuition did not let him down!
As the dog tried to show him something, the man got off his bike and followed it. Within a few minutes, Jenrell and the dog reached the landfill, where the dog began spinning around some discarded bag. Imagine his surprise, when there turned out to be a baby in the bundle.
Jenrell immediately reported to the police. The baby boy, was taken to the hospital. No health problems were found in the child. In all the chaos, it was temporarily forgotten that the dog had saved the child.
They later found the dog in the same area. The dog turned out to have a family. The local charity organization “Hope for Strays” visited the owners of the four-legged rescuer with gifts.
The dog’s name was Blackie. There were 10 other dogs living in the house with Blackie.
There were many problems with the financial situation of the animal’s owners. Currently, they are managed by a charity fund as a way of thanking people for raising such a sensitive and quick-witted dog.
