They were both so happy to see each other again
This woman had not seen her pet for several months. The dog turned out to be wandering on the streets. Some people later found its owner with the help of the chip on the collar.

On October 1, 2021, a resident of the northern quarters of Denver, Colorado (western USA), noticed a small dog alone on the street. She took the stray dog to the local Denver Animal Protection shelter. The shelter staff checked the dog’s ID chip to find its owners.
The volunteers found the woman and immediately contacted her. Kenyetta Tyler – the owner – mentioned that she hadn’t seen her dog ever since she went missing in February 2021. She had been searching for her for 7 seven months, but to no avail. The woman had already lost her hope, when she got a call from the Denver Animal Services that told her the happy news. They had found her beloved friend!

“I thought they were toying with me!”, the woman told 9News.
She left Colorado in July and was now living in Texas. Despite all the unsuccessful attempts, she still had some hope to Coco again. Ever since, she has been encouraging all pet owners, who have once lost their pets, to have faith and hope for the best.

Denver Animal Protection encourages all pet owners to install microchips in their pets. It costs $20 (about 17 euros) in this organization.
