Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds first met on the set of the movie “X-Men: Origins Wolverine.” According to Jackman, that’s when their friendly rivalry began. They often teased each other and created a public image of being arch-enemies, but it was all in good fun.
It all started when Ryan Reynolds married Scarlett Johansson, who was Hugh Jackman’s best friend at the time. Jackman jokingly told Reynolds to be careful with her because “he’s watching.”
They continued to playfully mock each other, even in movies. In “Deadpool,” for instance, Reynolds’ character stands in front of his girlfriend with a mask featuring Hugh Jackman’s face in one scene. In “Deadpool 2,” Wade Wilson has a music box with a deceased Wolverine figure from Jackman’s portrayal in “Logan.”
Despite Jackman stating multiple times that he was stepping away from the Wolverine role, Reynolds convinced him to return for “Deadpool 3,” and they announced it in a joint video released on September 28, 2022.
Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson met on the set of the comedy “Edtv” and later appeared together in the film “Surfer.” A strong friendship developed between them during the interim period, and they reunited to work on the first season of “True Detective.”
Interestingly, McConaughey and Harrelson may actually be stepbrothers, as they revealed to their fans. At a family gathering, McConaughey’s mother told Harrelson that she knew his father. This revelation shocked everyone when they realized that Harrelson’s father was involved with McConaughey’s mother around a year before McConaughey was born, as there was a crack in his parents’ relationship at that time. So, the actors do not rule out the possibility of being stepbrothers, which has a bittersweet taste for McConaughey if true.

Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt, despite having drastically different filmographies, became best friends. The exact moment of their first meeting is unknown, but paparazzi first spotted them together in 1995 at an event in Los Angeles.
Their friendship flourished publicly after the release of Quentin Tarantino’s film “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.” DiCaprio and Pitt were seen more frequently together, gave joint interviews, and admitted that they often spent time together in Pitt’s pottery studio, creating art and eating sandwiches until the early hours of the morning.
