Netflix and Lindsay Lohan have teamed up for a new holiday movie called “Our Little Secret.” Lindsay, who recently starred in “Falling for Christmas,” will play the lead role in this film. The story is about two people who used to be in a relationship and now have to spend Christmas together because their current partners are siblings. The movie also stars Kristin Chenoweth, Ian Harding, Jon Rudnitsky, Chris Parnell, and Tim Meadows from “Mean Girls.”
Lindsay’s collaboration with Netflix started in 2022, and this is her second film as part of a two-picture deal. The first one, “Falling for Christmas,” came out earlier, marking her return to a major starring role since 2013. In that movie, she played a woman with amnesia who ends up with a lodge owner and his daughter after a skiing accident.
The next film, “Irish Wish,” is about a woman named Maddie who attends her best friend’s wedding in Ireland as a bridesmaid. The twist is that Maddie is secretly in love with the groom. Days before the wedding, she makes a wish for true love and wakes up as the bride-to-be, only to realize her true soulmate is someone else.
Netflix is excited about working with Lindsay, and they announced this collaboration in 2022. Since returning to acting, Lindsay has also appeared in a music video and reprised her role as Cady Heron in some Walmart Black Friday ads. She even had a surprise cameo in the recent Mean Girls musical.
“Our Little Secret” does not have a release date yet, but “Irish Wish” will start streaming on Netflix on March 15. The movie also features performances from Dan Bucatinsky, Henry Czerny, Katie Baker, Ash Santos, Jake Brennan, and Brian Unger.
