The night started with a reunion of The Devil Wears Prada, where Emily Blunt and Anne Hathaway said Meryl Streep was just like her character Miranda Priestly.

Pedro Pascal won an award for The Last of Us and gave a funny speech. Barbra Streisand got a special award and talked about her acting dreams and ending prejudice.
The SAG-AFTRA President talked about last year’s strike, the need to challenge artificial intelligence, and the importance of female leadership.
Lily Gladstone accepted an award in her native language, and Oppenheimer won a big award for the cast.
Off-camera, there were fun moments. Sheryl Lee Ralph and Ciara greeted each other happily on the red carpet. Rachel Brosnahan and Sterling K. Brown hugged backstage. Da’Vine Joy Randolph changed into slippers after winning an award. Ayo Edebiri talked about her character in The Bear, and Jeremy Allen White teased the next season.
Robert Downey Jr. noticed an empty table, and Brett Goldstein ordered drinks at the bar. Jessica Chastain admitted she was nervous, and Billy Crudup and Naomi Watts left together holding hands. Streep took a selfie with Jeremy Shamos before the night ended.
