Kate Winslet talked about working with Hugh Grant again after 29 years. They worked together in the HBO series called The Regime. They hadn’t seen each other since they acted together in the movie Sense and Sensibility in 1995.
Winslet said it was amazing to work with Grant again after such a long time. She was excited to act with him again and play different roles as adults.
In Sense and Sensibility, Winslet played Marianne Dashwood, the younger sister of Emma Thompson’s character, Elinor Dashwood. Grant played Elinor’s love interest, Edward Ferrars.

Winslet said that The Regime is different from Sense and Sensibility. She hopes she has grown as an actor since then.
Winslet looked stylish at the premiere, wearing a white blazer, a low-cut top, black dress pants, and pumps.
The Regime is a six-episode series that will start on March 3 on Max. It’s about life in an authoritarian regime and how it falls apart. Winslet plays Chancellor Elena Vernham, who becomes paranoid and unstable. She trusts a soldier named Herbert Zubak, played by Matthias Schoenaerts. But as Zubak gains power over the chancellor, the palace and the country start to break apart.
