Keith Urban is a famous musician from Australia. He met Nicole Kidman, his wife, for the first time in 2005 at an event called “G-Day LA” which celebrated Australians. Nicole was already engaged to someone else when she met Keith. But, after just three months of knowing each other, they got engaged themselves and soon after, they got married. They didn’t really get to know each other until after they were married. They have two daughters together.
Keith’s dad, Robert, had a big impact on him, even though he died from prostate cancer. In 2018, Keith went to an event called the It’s A Bloke Thing lunch to support prostate cancer awareness. Some people thought he might be sick when they saw him at the Sydney airport, but he was actually there to perform at the event to raise money for prostate cancer awareness. Prostate cancer has affected other members of Keith’s family too, like his uncles, so he cares a lot about raising awareness.
Keith played for free at the event, and because of that, they were able to raise a lot of money, over $2 million! This shows that Keith Urban is not just a talented musician and a good dad, but also a caring and kind person.
