The man did everything right
This young man was traveling the mountains of Utah when he came across some cute babies. Soon he discovered those were cougar cubs.
Kyle Burges faced his biggest nightmare in Slate-Canyon, Utah.
He took the cubs for mountain pouches, but soon found out he was mistaken. It was already too late, because in a few seconds he was standing face to face with their angry mother.
The next few minutes became the worst in his whole life. In the photos you can see that the man was slowly retreating, but the wild animal was following him. The man started shouting at the cougar trying to scare her away. However, it is rather difficult to scare a wild animal away, especially if it is a mother.
After a while, the tourist managed to pick up a stone and throw it to the cougar. Surprisingly, the animal ran away. Luckily, the tourist managed to escape.
He did everything right in such a dangerous situation. Neither the man, nor the animals suffered an consequences.
