As a teenager, the girl was really shy and never considered herself beautiful or even feminine. Later, she took up ballet classes, which helped her gain self-confidence and freedom. One time she was invited to a photoshoot for a once famous magazine. As soon as the photos were published, the young lady immediately became famous and popular.
She began her film career in 1953. A lot of magazines and modeling agencies invited her to various photoshoots. And every time, the girl managed to attract people in a new way, thanks to her heavenly beautiful appearance and femininity.
The actress has starred in over 50 films. This is an unbelievable number for any artist. Brigitte has been married not once. However, she has only one child – Nicolas.
For a really long time, the actress’s name used to be in the center of attention. This fact prevented her from having a private life, so the actress started hating her popularity and her whole filming career. In 1973, the actress officially gave up her career. She was 39 years old.
After this shocking announcement, Brigitte became an animal protector. This kind-hearted woman saved lives of hundreds of cats and dogs. In 1986, the artist sold her property to raise funds in behalf of helpless animals. The charity fund still operates under her name.
Currently, Bardot is still dedicated to her occupation as an animal protector. She’s 87, and still looks charming and elegant and is quite active.
