Sometimes he would give all his food to these dogs, instead of eating it himself
A doctor named Chris Mumprim works at the Alto Vale Regional Hospital in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. During her shift, a patient was admitted – a homeless man named Cesar, who complained of general malaise.
While the hospital staff was giving Cesar the necessary help, the doctor noticed that a group of dogs was standing at the door and waiting for something. Outwardly, they were very different from stray animals, and this interested Chris.
When the doctor asked Cesar if they were his friends, he said that sometimes, instead of eating, he gives all the food to these dogs. And here’s what Dr. Mumprim said about it:
“This is an ordinary person who needs help himself. He has no housing, no opportunity to provide himself with the necessary medicines and food, but he turned out to be a great friend. And the four dogs waiting for him are the best proof of that.
I don’t know anything about his fate, how and why he ended up on the street, but I have no right to judge him. I admire his love for these animals. They were waiting for him at the hospital door with such anxiety and hope… It shows that he loves them, and they love him back.”
The dogs did not leave the hospital door until Cesar came out to them. And the hospital staff did not let them go until the owner and his four-legged friends had lunch.
