Instead of gasoline, he needs only 1 liter of water for 500 km to ride his improved motorcycle

Use water instead of gasoline…genius!

Brazilian civil servant Ricardo Azevedo has become a real celebrity in his hometown of Sao Paulo. But it was not his professional activity that brought fame to the man, but his hobby. The craftsman has redesigned his motorcycle, and now he can drive 500 km, filling up only 1 liter of water.

In a video that hit the news around the world, Brazilian Ricardo Azevedo tells how he and his son Gabriel remade a single-cylinder Honda NX200 motorcycle. Now the Brazilian calls his two-wheeled vehicle “T Power H2O” and claims that only water is needed for its normal operation. Moreover, as a revolutionary “fuel”, both tap water and the nearest puddle will be suitable. The craftsman and tester himself refuels his bike from the nearby rather polluted Tiete River.

Currently, the motorcycle made by Azevedo is just a prototype. The bike can not boast of a cool appearance, but this should not scare off potential investors.

The T Power H2O motorcycle received a car battery that gives off electricity, with the help of which electrolysis occurs, i.e. splitting of water. Thus, hydrogen is released, which enters further into the internal combustion engine.

The energy that hydrogen releases during combustion in a motorcycle engine is much higher than during the combustion of conventional gasoline. It is thanks to this that only 0.2 liters of water are needed for a trip of 100 kilometers. “The advantage of this motorcycle, which runs on hydrogen, which we get from water, is that the result of the exhaust is water vapor,” explains Azevedo. “This is different from gasoline, after the combustion of which carbon monoxide is released.”
