As twins, they are not ashamed of their story and origin!
Twin sisters Lucy and Maria Aylmer were born in the British city of Gloucester. Their father is English and their mother has Jamaican roots. In addition to the girls, there were already two children in the family who just had a dark skin tone.
But genetics played a funny joke with the twins. One of the girls completely took after her mother, and the second is almost the copy of her paternal relatives.
And no less white-skinned. As a child, the second sister, Lucy, suffered from complexes. She was completely different from her siblings. She was different even from her twin sister!
However, as she grew up, she realized how unique her story was. The girl graduated from college and is engaged in design.
She is quite phlegmatic, if not shy. But her twin sister is completely different. Maria is a real hyperactive extrovert. She started her career as a lawyer.
Maria Aylmer stated in an interview: “When we grew up, although we look so different, the connection between us became much stronger.”
