No ferocity, not even a formidable appearance
Chris and Wiley Fulton from Ontario admit that they and the dog have gone crazy. But, in fairness, who could have guessed such a thing? The Great Dane puppy predictably grew into a huge dog, but at the same time remained a sentimental coward – no ferocity, not even a formidable appearance. Hilarious one.
In appearance, Bryuski (that’s the dog’s name) is a normal great Dane – a hefty one.
The Fultons originally wanted a big dog, such that just WOW! The guard of the house, the defender and the winner of enemies. They took Bryuski as a puppy at the age of 7 weeks – he then weighed 6 kg and was so clumsy, so nothing confused them. The puppy was growing regularly, gaining weight, but he had no malice or something like that at all. Even more, by the first year of his life, they had to admit that Bryuski had grown up to be an outright coward.
The height at the withers is almost a meter, weighs a little less than 100 kg. It’s more than the owner, by the way!
When you are the biggest, but you are afraid of even the smallest thing
I’m not a coward, but I’m afraid! This is just about Bryuski, who is very inquisitive, sweet and sociable with everyone without exception. But if he encounters something incomprehensible or threatening, he prefers to retreat. Even an apple core or a sock pointed threateningly in his direction can scare the dog. And he is also afraid of different sounds and likes to run and hide on the owner’s hands, which pushes them into the sofa.
As Fulton found out, it is unrealistic to re-educate Bryuski, such is his character. This is a difficult moment faced by owners of Great Danes – despite their power, dogs of this breed often prefer to behave very peaceably and even make concessions to small and daring animals.
