The little dog was overjoyed finding herself in a safe place
Upon arrival to the shelter, this wonderful dog amazed the whole stuff. There is no doubt that the little dog was overjoyed finding herself in a safe place.
The 7-week-old dog was found in March, 2019. She was wandering on the streets all alone. The staff named her Layla.
Rachel Barron, a technician in the shelter, walked to her kennel and started speaking to her, when the dog very unexpectedly started smiling. “She definitely liked my voice”, recalls Barron.
“She started wagging her tail happily, and then appeared the already famous smile on her little muzzle. I pulled out my phone to take a photo of her and share it.”
The little dog touched the whole world with her sweet smile. She knew she was in good and caring hands.
As soon as the photos appeared on the internet, a lot of people started contacting the shelter. They wanted to adopt Layla. Finally, a wonderful family appeared, perfect for Layla, and took her home.
Nicole Tony and her husband already had a few dogs and cats living with them. They immediately liked Layla and knew she would become a great member of their big family.
And she did become a wonderful addition to the family.
“She was shy and nervous at first, but she still seemed cute and excited”, told Nicole The Dodo.
