It’s great they didn’t ignore the suffering animal!
The saddest sight we come across while resting on a beach is suffering mammals washed ashore. Sometimes there happen to be caring people nearby who help them. But most of the times they just die.
Fortunately, this story ended well. A group of hikers was relaxing on Magheroarty Beach in West Donegal, Ireland, when they noticed a baby dolphin on the shore.
The guys immediately rushed to the dolphin’s aid. They dragged the dolphin back into the sea with the help of some towels. Their attempt was successful. Soon the whole local area found out about these heroes and praised them for their deed.
They were grateful to the guys and the animal rescue team that was also near the tragic scene. They informed everyone living in that area to let them know about other trapped animals.
Sometimes the tired fish happen to be thrown out of the ocean again after being rescued, because of the ocean currents.
First of all, they need special help. After this case, an animal rescue team is watching over the shore, in case the dolphin appeared on the land again.
Anyway, we are grateful to the tourists who didn’t ignore the suffering mammal!
