Yellow penguin was noticed for the first time

Everyone is black-and-white, and he is yellow!

Photographer Eva Adams managed to capture a significantly beautiful creature on her camera. The creature is a penguin, but have you ever seen a penguin that looks like a yellow parrot?

Scientifically this condition is called leucism. It’s similar to albinism, only a little different and is rarer.

Experts began studying leucism in penguins at the beginning of the 21st century. However, they never managed to take a single normal picture of this phenomenon. And Adams became the first to even capture a penguin with leucism on the camera – so colorful and detailed!

Everyone is black-and-white, and he is yellow!

According to scientists, the probability of such a case is 1 in 150,000. Adams’ group counted around 120,000 penguins on the island of the yellow penguin, and he was the only one tp stand out.

The photographer herself believes she was already incredibly luck to see the yellow penguin with her own eyes, not talking about perfect shots.

Social media users might be delighted with the unique appearance of the penguin. However, it may not be the case with penguins.

Nature has endowed birds with a camouflage coloring. And his eye-catching appearance attracts everyone, including predators. Still, there’s no thought of taking the unique creature to the zoo.
