Dogs are ready to save anyone no matter the species!
Dog is man’s best friend! They are the most caring, loyal and the most devoted living beings in the whole world.
Kerry Burns and Pam Weber were walking along Saker River in Duluth, Minnesota. And suddenly, Kerry’s dog – Kenai – started barking.
Turned out, the Golden Retriever dog had noticed a bald eagle in the bushes.
Burns later added: “We saw how the eagle suddenly jumped out of the bushes and swooped down to the shore. Luckily, Kenai is not trained to hunt animals. As soon as I noticed why she was barking, she immediately stopped”.
The eagle was freezing and was also injured. After medical examination it turned out that the eagle was also suffering from lead poisoning. The staff gave the eagle fluids and painkillers, hoping that it would help it.
The eagle was later sent to the University of Minnesota Predator Center in St. Paul.
