Belle and Sebastian in real life!
Very often dogs become real family members. They are excellent companions and everyone can rely on them.
There’s a little boy with autism named Leon living in Hampshire, UK. He has a dog best friend – Fern. Fern and Leon are like the main characters of the movie “Belle and Sebastian”.
The little boy’s life has changed a lot since the appearance of the Cocker Spaniel in their family. The boy didn’t speak any word until the age if 4.
Leon Kirby-Bulne could not speak and didn’t make eye contact with anyone. He didn’t interact with people and seemed to be locked in a separate world away from everyone.
“He loved Fern from the first sight!”, told his mother. “There was a sparkle in his eyes that we had never seen before”.
Parents noticed extraordinary changes in their son. Thanks to the 3-yer-old dog, Leon could finally get out of his shell and interact with his surroundings.
And so Fern and Leon became best friends!
There’s a unique and powerful bond between them. They do everything together. Fern helped his little friend gain self-confidence and open up to the world.
