11-year-old dog Turbo went missing from his owner’s house in Marco Island, Florida. It turned out, the little dog was fighting for his life trying hard not to drown in the canal. Fortunately, a pod of dolphins noticed the dog and rushed to help him.
The adorable dolphins started pushing the dog with their noses toward the shore. Then some people noticed the rescue scene and went down the canal to help.
The dolphins seemed to be experienced rescuers. They knew exactly what to do to save the dog’s life. People on the coast contacted firefighters, and very soon they arrived at the scene. The little dog was shivering a little bit, but he was fine. According to the firefighters, the dog had spent about 15 hours in the water. It is an extremely long time, especially for a non-marine creature.
The dog is a real hero for fighting so hard for his own life! And the dolphins too are worth this title. After all, they helped the dog a lot!
