Wonderful meeting of a police officer and a little owl

What an adorable bird!

One day a cute little owl appeared in the middle of a road and surprised people around.

Two police officers from Boulder, Colorado, were driving along a road when they noticed a small creature in the middle of the road. They walked up the creature and found out it was a northern saw-whet owl. The owl seemed to be lost and didn’t even understand how dangerous it was. Fortunately, the officers decided to help the lost bird.

The cutie has a big head, a cat’s face and charming yellow eyes.

“Hey cutie! What’s up?”, one of the officers started a conversation with the owl. The little creature turned her head in response. As soon as she heard the officer’s voice, she opened her eyes widely as if she was all ears.

The officers kept talking to her and advised her to leave the road. Not every driver would stop their car when they see the bird. The own seemed to perfectly understand the human language. She accepted the advice and flew away of the road.

Northers owls usually hunt at dusk and at dawn using the strategy of “sit and wait”. Perhaps this owl was “hunting” too. However, she didn’t expect two huge human beings fall into her trap.

Still, it is dangerous fur such small creatures stand in the middle of the road. This owl was lucky to meet these kind officers.
