Five months old Yuta, who is currently recovering from the injuries, sustained in falling from the fourth floor, now has found new owners. On May 28 little Yuta finally left the clinic “LenoblVet” and moved to her new home. She’s going to live in Kupchino, in the south of St. Petersburg. The woman, who has taken Yuta, learned about the animal in the web page of the shelter “Give Home” on the internet. Anna Bayurchikova – member of this organization – told that the future owner had visited the dog, who at that time was still in the clinic.
As a reminder we should mention, that the story of Yuta spread all over the country. The dog’s owner, who was intoxicated at that moment, threw the animal out of the window from the fourth floor. The incident happened on May 9, in Kolpino. All this time, vets and volunteers were fighting for the dog’s health, who was seriously injured during the fall.
The animal was diagnosed with a compound fracture of the femur and with bruises of internal organs. The dog underwent surgery. Recently, during computed tomography, it turned out that Yuta also had a scapular fracture. According to the doctors, the scapula will recover without surgery. Yuta is now going for walks and even barks at strangers.
Yuta’s former owner was arrested. He will stay there till June 17. The man is charged with cruelty towards animals.
