Pieces of glass and debris were sticking out of her fur. The poor thing wasn’t even able to open her eyes

This story began in 2004. That time Ekaterina Rassokhina’s mother unexpectedly brought a skinny “Persian” (Persian cat) into the house. She was in a terrible condition. Not only that, the animal’s fur was entirely polish plait. There were also small pieces of glass and debris entangled in the fur. Also, the homeless cat wasn’t able to open her eyes.

The kind woman, with the help of her daughter, washed the cat, cut off the tangled tufts of the fur. Katya’s parents even made an announcement about a Persian cat being lost. They thought that someone might be looking for her. However, no one appeared to be her owner.

It has been no less than 15 years! Ekaterina still has no idea how the cat ended up in the street. But that doesn’t matter. The main thing is that the cat is healthy and happy.

One more incident that happened sometime in August, 2016.That time Katya together with her family  went to the village, where they had a dacha. One time a  very skinny cat of Siamese breed came to their house. Actually she resembled a skeleton that weighed only 1.5 kg.

The Rassokhines immediately kept the homeless cat in their house. They also looked for her former owners. And, again, didn’t find them. The cat spent the whole summer in dacha. She came back to normal and even looked beautiful. And then Katya’s classmate took the Siamese cat to her.

Two years later another incident occurred with these people, who, as you can see, attract lonely cats to themselves. Ekaterina and her parents again happened to meet another cat in their entrance. He was apparently put there by some person. They caught the little creature, took him to their flat and then to the vet clinic.

There it tuned out that there were parasitic worms inside the cat and he also hat Vitamin deficiency. Katya’s family immediately made a decision to keep the cat in the house until he is fully recovered.

The kitten, of course, got rid of all his illnesses. Then new owners were found for him. They were Katya’s friends. They took the cat from Moscow to St. Petersburg.

It is only thanks to Ekaterina’s and her parent’s kindness that the three cats now live with good people, safe and sound. We owe a gratitude to the Rassokhins’ family for this!

Our advice to you – do not ignore sick and helpless animals. It may well be that you are their last hope for survival.
