We would like to tell you about a real hero, who lived in the state of Georgia, USA. He had neither an owner, nor a house.
One day this wandering pit bull witnessed a terrible scene. An aggressive man attacked the woman passing by him. The dog instantly stood up for her. But the criminal had a knife on him…
Unfortunately, the criminal wounded the dog, stabbing him 5 times. When the police – officer Daniel Seeley and sergeant Timothy Clay – arrived, the fearless dog was already bleeding and was in the worst condition. The woman, who the dog protected, told how she was saved by an unfamiliar dog.
However, the situation required immediate action. After all, the pit bull was dying. The police did their best to take the dog to a vet clinic as fast as possible. There they took urgent measures to save the dog. And after a few days the first signs appeared that the dog was recovering.
During his treatment, vets noticed that the dog had many other injuries and diseases. Most probably the stray dog often suffered from evil people.
For his brave deed, the dog was named Hero. The woman, who the dog saved (her name is Karla Welch) fully paid for the pit bull’s treatment. And when the dog fully recovered, she adopted Hero.
But because of some circumstances, the dog couldn’t live with her. Then Karla began to actively look for a new family for him. Turned out, a lot of people wanted to take the dog to themselves. In the end he went to Sarah and David Simpsons. Now the couple is happy, as a real hero lives with them.
