The dog had to show people something very important. After all, dogs are very smart!
Anyone who has survived a fire in their house, or who knows people have gone through this hell, realizes how devastating the consequences can be. Amazing how fast the fire can spread everywhere until the whole house is burnt. The Marrs from Michigan have already experienced this hell.
This happened in 2017. One day in March, Marrs’ house caught fire. Everyone was in despair, not because of the things that were destroyed by fire. Their pet Chloe was inside the burning house and could die at any moment.
However, she was saved thanks to one of the firefighters. He made a gas mask for Chloe and helped her out of the fire.
Back to the ruins.
At this point, we would’ve put an end to this story. But the dog had a duty to fulfill.
The reason was, that the mother of the family – Christina Marr – visited the ruins for the first time with the dog.
While they were looking around the burnt things, something incredible happened.
Out of the blue, the dog started to call her owner to a certain place. When Christina followed her, the dog led her to a dark hole under the floor. The dog was sniffing it.
Christina later told, how she heard weak meowing coming from under the boards. With the help of a flashlight the woman noticed a cat there.
At first, Christina thought, that it was one of the stray cats that entered the house from the floor. But after a while, she realized, it was their kitten Ringer, that had gone lost.
He got lost during the fire.
Ringer disappeared when the fire broke out in the house. For 2 months no one could find him. What was left to think? Only that he was dead…
Christina was incredibly happy to find her lovely pet. Amazing, how Ringer could survive in loneliness in the completely burnt out house.
In her interview to “South Florida”, Christina Marr told it was just a miracle. Two months the cat lived without food and water!
When the cat was found, he was exhausted. But after going back to his family, he very soon recovered. This, of course, happened under Chloe’s extreme care. The dog didn’t leave her fellow cat alone in this either.
