“Do you recognize me?”,-asked the man to his new wife. She just cried in response…

My grandmother is married again. She’s 76, and the man is 78 years old. They met at the cemetery. She regularly visited my grandfather’s grave, and next to it was his wife’s grave that he also visited a lot. That was her future husband. He would bring flowers, carefully clean his wife’s grave for several hours. My granny payed attention to him.

My grandma was curious when the woman had died, so one day she looked at the date before the man came. It’s been 11 years.

At first my grandma just greeted him, then they started to chat. Later they started to return from the cemetery together. He walked her home. They started, kind of a cemetery friendship. And they decided to marry each other.

Not so many people were present in the wedding ceremony. My new grandfather Nikolai Ivanovic raised a glass of Pepsi-Cola. He never drinks (my mom even joked, saying you can find a man who doesn’t drink only at the cemetery)…So, he raised the glass, there was silence, he stared at my grandmother and said softly:

_Anya, don’t you really recognize me?

Her lips trembled, she nodded:

_I do, Kolenka, always did…

It turned out, they had already been married. They were 18 back then. They lived together for only 2 months and got divorced. He considered her silly. And she considered him undignified.
