Kim Guiley from California always wanted to have a big family: she, her husband and their two children – a girl and a boy. For a very long time she was sure, she wasn’t able to have a second child. But in the end when it happened…anyway, see for yourselves!
Kim and her husband Travis raised their little daughter Hazel. At the end of 2015, they found out Kim was pregnant again. The spouses were over the moon! They surely hoped the second child would be a boy. But the couple decided not to know the gender until the baby was born. Kim had previously had a miscarriage. She and her husband were very depressed about this, so they considered the health of the child much more important that its gender.
Kim was so sure she was going to have another girl. Travis would always tell her not to guess anything. But the girl was so concentrated on this idea, that the birth of a boy was a shock for her.
Not so long before the childbirth, the couple chose a name for their future daughter. Kim herself was a midwife, so, with her experience and knowledge, she decided to have the baby at home.
And the day of birth came! At first, Kim prepared for the labor in the living room, then she thought it would be better in the bathroom. There the baby was born!
Everything was fine. The baby was born healthy. But wait…when Kim took the baby in her arms and opened the diaper, she saw it was not a girl. The couple had a boy!

The same evening, the girl, still in shock, posted a photo on Instagram with the caption: “I’ve always hoped to have a son! But during the whole pregnancy, I was sure it was going to be a girl. This is the moment we found out Theo’s gender.
