Yes! This has actually happened and is officially documented. Although, taking into account the current number of people and the birth rate of about 2 children/second, this would have happened anyway. But still, this fact is surprising. A girl named Charlie Rose Masters was born at a unique moment in time – on February 2, 2020, at 20:02.
Leiken Masters, the mother, had absolutely forgotten about the dates. At best she knew “the beginning of the week” and “the end of the week”. This was her first childbirth. Before that she had two miscarriages. Therefore, her thoughts revolved more around the process, and not the numbers. She was in a mild shock, so when the contractions began, she could only react with “What? Already?”. The birth took place at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky.
Fortunately for the family and the story, the grandmother – Didi Calvert – was on guard. She was the first to figure out, that the childbirth could begin a few days earlier. And if so, there was a great chance it could happen on 02.02.2020, which would be just amazing. Even more, such dates, called palindromes, happen extremely rarely. The last one was almost a thousand years ago, on November 11, 1111, in the dark Middle Ages! So the grandmother was on guard, and was the first to take a picture of the watch on the wall, when the first cry of the baby was heard. Right at 20.02!
Probably, in order to consolidate the significance and not the randomness of the event, the birth itself lasted exactly 20 minutes. And Charley Rose was born a healthy and organized girl, as if she knew in advance that great things were waiting for her.
