This 9-month-old tigress weighed 15kg, instead of the required 60.
Despite the fact, that this little tigress was already 9-month-old, she weighed only 15kg. Such weight is normal for a 3-month-old cub. Besides being mistreated in the travelling circus, where she was discovered, she was also constantly attacked by bigger tigers. Fortunately, the Rare Animal Rescue Center in Texas took her under its care.
When she was taken away from the circus, bald spots covered most of her body, and her skin was dry and cracked.
“Everyday I visited her twice, gave her medications and spent some time with her”, said the founder of the rescue center.
She often had to take therapeutic baths. Over time, she started to like them, and her condition improved significantly!
“After eight months, she looked like a real tiger”.
She made friends with another tiger named Contrabandist.
Now they live together and, it seems, they’re in love
And she’s still crazy about taking baths!
