Do you remember Honey Boo Boo?
Alana Thompson became known literally all over the world back in 2012, thanks to her participation in the program “Toddlers & Tiaras”. In this project, little girls participated in beauty contests, and Alana became the winner because of her childlike cheerfulness and brightness.
After some time, the baby had her own show, “Here comes Honey Boo Boo”. Already at that time, the girl’s mother fed her sweets and gave her energy drinks so that Alana would be more energetic and cheerful all the time of filming.
Alana’s family was not the most revealing, and this was shown in a reality show, but most people were simply horrified. In 2014, the show was closed because the girl’s mother returned to a man with a very bad reputation. The producers could no longer work with this family.
The family decided not to leave television and at the beginning of 2015, the mother and Honey appeared on the show “Doctors”, where they tried to help the girl lose weight. However, weight loss did not interest the girl herself at all, as she continued to eat the same way as during the filming of the reality show.
And three years ago, the teenage girl decided to participate in the show “Dancing with the Stars”, although it was incredibly difficult with her weight.
After her mom started her show about losing weight, the girl said that she betrayed her and did not pay any attention to her. Therefore, now the teenager lives with her older sister and her family.
