Mother Earth sneezed heartily
An underwater volcano erupted near the island of Tonga in the Pacific Ocean. The strength reached 7.4 points, and the scene turned out to be apocalyptic. But there is surprisingly little destruction and nothing threatens the planet.
It’s the beautiful “rose” on the right:

Mother Earth sneezed heartily.
The sounds of the eruption were heard 500 km away (according to some sources, even 1000km)!
An island up to 12 m high was formed above the water.

Humanity is powerless, one can only observe!

The scale of what happened has yet to be assessed, now it is very dangerous there.
The eruption generated a tsunami and Tonga got the most.
But, fortunately, the wave height was a little more than a meter, and in remote regions even tens of centimeters, so the destruction is minimal. However, there is no stable connection with Tonga yet, so it’s too early to judge.
