Friendship between animals also exists!
An unusual story happened in the Moscow Oblast, and it proved that friendship between animals actually exists.
The dog named Buick was taken from the shelter in April 2020. In summer, the family that sheltered the dog temporarily moved to live in a dacha in the Serpukhov district. In August, the active Buick made a hole in the fence and just ran away. It was not possible to find him in hot pursuit. The owners did not find their four-legged friend in the vicinity. The sign with the address and contacts of the owners on the collar did not help either.
Many kind people joined the search. They posted photos on social networks and put up ads. Calls were received several times, but the dogs found turned out to be just like the lost Buick. The volunteers did not lose hope, but five months later the dog was still missing.
One fine day, someone named Daria called, who said that she had seen a dog similar to Buick at her dacha, and in the same Serpukhov district in which the pet was lost.
The girl sent a photo, and the volunteers could not believe their eyes: it was exactly the dog they had been looking for for so long. Daria said that a red dog always walked with Buick, who seemed to protect his friend.
Volunteers Larisa and Nadezhda went to the place. Nadia supervised Buick at the shelter: she took care of him, fed him and so on. Her ward had to recognize the voice of his loved one. That’s exactly what happened. Buick, who was affectionately called Byusha, rushed to meet the owner, wagged his tail merrily, and began happily licking her hands and face. Nadezhda was touched and decided to take his new friend, who was named Bentley, to the shelter together with the found Buick.
When they found Buick, there were severe frosts on the streets. It is unknown how the dog, accustomed to care and affection, was able to survive in such harsh conditions, in which it was necessary not only to warm up and escape from evil people and stray dog packs, but also to look for food. Surely it was Bentley who helped Buick survive and get back to his family.
Volunteers have already started looking for new owners for Buick, and they decided not to separate the dog from Bentley. After all, these two have overcome many trials, and they definitely deserve to be together in a cozy house with loving owners.
