No matter the species, a mother is always a mother!
Doberman dogs are considered cruel and scary, and the representatives of these species are being unfairly vilified. But with a little time, love and affection, these dogs can become the cutest and kindest creatures to ever exist.
Meet Ruby – one of Brittany Callan’s Dobermans. She had recently given birth to 6 puppies.
Brittany found a little kitten at her husband’s work a week ago. She realized she couldn’t leave the kitten unprotected, and took it home. So, now, Ruby was raising her 6 puppies and 1 kitten.
“She can be a mother to any animal”, said Brittany in her dog’s place. Ruby had an experience of taking care of different species – rabbits, ducks, chickens, even guinea pigs. Brittany was sure Ruby would not reject the kitten.
Dog’s milk meets most of a kitten’s nutritional needs. To make up for the lack of nutrition, Brittany started giving the kitten formula and supplements. Very soon the kitten started gaining weight. By the way, Brittany named her Ramblin’ Rose.
“Looks like Ruby worries about the kitten more, than her own puppies”, noticed Brittany.
As Rose is really attached to the dogs right now, their owner doesn’t want to give the kitten away. She will give her to one of her friends in the future.
