Nine years ago, a Colombian girl, Daniella Álvarez, won the beauty pageant. After that, she got the opportunity to enter the modeling business and television. She became a UNICEF ambassador and an entrepreneur.
However, a real tragedy happened to Daniella. Doctors diagnosed her with a stomach tumor. It was removed. But still, Álvarez’s troubles didn’t end here.
She had Ischemia – blood just stopped flowing into her shin. Doctors saw only one solution: leg amputation below the knee. The girl bravely accepted this news.
Daniella posted photos on her Instagram, taken in her hospital ward after the surgery. Family and friends came to support the woman. Despite the tragedy, the Colombian beauty doesn’t lose her spirit and tries to keep positive!
The model realizes, that the following few months will be difficult. Still, she believes in the best. Álvarez says, she’s going to order prostheses, which will let her dance, ride a bike and run.
