Andre LaVote is an NYPD officer. Last week, he was driving down a busy street when he noticed something strange. The man stopped the car and got out of it to save two cute squirrels.
They were still babies, so it was better to return them as soon as possible. He took the animals to a safer place, where their mother could find her babies.
The officer then found a squirrel nest in one of the trees at the road. This is where the policeman left the squirrels.
The little squirrels, however, didn’t want to let go of the kind officer. He had no other choice, but to let them play a little on his shoulder. Then he put them in the nest and waited till they fell asleep.
The NYSP official account on Facebook posted the photos of the kind officer and the little squirrels. Hundreds of users admired the man and his kindness, leaving pleasant comments under the post.
